A beer brewed for Perry!

To celebrate all the time Perry has spent at The Crompton and his advanced age, Trevor at the Derby Brewing Company has produced a very special beer. Perry wanted a strong, pale ale and 50 20 was the result. First served at Perry's 50th birthday party, it is going down very well! Make sure you try some while we still have it!

Great night on Saturday - lots of old faces, some we haven't seen for over 10 years. Bit of a reunion night. Hoping to collect photos for the next issue of Pssstt!! which is now under consideration. Anyone who wants to contribute feel free, we have a new agony aunt-uncle so any problems will receive the consideration they deserve! Hand in behind bar/ put in suggestion box (by front exit) or speak to Kate.

Pssst!! at the Crompton - special anniversary edition

Back in 1997 we did four issues of 'Pssst!! at the Crompton'. To celebrate our 20 years we are going to produce a special anniversary edition - some time during November 2009. We are also going to find a way to post the back editions online (but this may take a bit longer!). If anyone has any contributions to make, hand in behind the bar.
